Sunday afternoon here in Melbourne brought us both the rain (after a random week of perfect sunshine) and the gorgeously infectious Melbourne singer-songwriter Cilla Jane's album launch.
After a lovely lunch down at one of our favourites places Palomino, High Street and a super quick browse through 2 of my favourite bookshops, we headed into the Northcote Social Club to find Cilla's merchandise table full of beautifully crafted artwork by Newcastle artist Jo Dyer.

A truly stunning opening song with just Cilla, her guitar and that amazing voice which had somehow become even richer since I last heard it! Equally stunning Andy Picker on cello, drums and keys... sometimes all in the one song, Andy had me watching in anticipation as he moved fluidly from one instrument to the next, never once missing a beat.
